A new recipe from the series, nothing is lost, everything is reused!

If you have pieces of pastrami left over from the weekend barbecue, you can invigorate them with a little wine, on a bed of vegetables and seasoned with tomato sauce!

  • Aries pastrami approx. 1000 g,
  • Yellow onion 3 pieces,
  • Kapia peppers 1 piece,
  • Semi-dry white wine approx. 300 ml,
  • Tomato paste approx. 300 ml.

Preparation time: over 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Pastrama with Crock-Pot slow cooker sauce:

Peel and chop the onion and pepper.

The pastrami is first fried in a pan or on the grill. After it is semi-cooked / fried, cut the right pieces.

Put the coarsely chopped vegetables, the pieces of pastrami, the wine in the ceramic bowl of the Crock-Pot 4.7L Digital slow cooker and leave it to cook for approx. 3 hours on the HIGH program.

Add the tomato sauce and cook for another hour.

Pastrama is served hot with bread or polenta and pickles.
